  5. Once the download and install is finished you will be redirected to GitHub page and another section with vertical tab will appear on the left side of the screen.

Note – You will only be able to use Vertical tabs on new tab not the tabs that you have previously opened before installing the extensions. Also make sure you restart your browser for it to properly embed the extension.

How to Customize Vertical Tabs

Change Theme

If you thing that Vertical sidebar is too small or taking a lot of space then you have the ability to resize it according to your need. All you need to change the size if to click and drag it to either left or right.

Change Tab Location

By default the sidebar location is set to left, but you can easily change it other side if you feel the need. Follow these steps to know how:

  1. Open Chrome browser and click on Settings icon in sidebar.
  2. Find the section named Sidebar position.
  3. Now choose Right to shift the sidebar to right side of the screen.
  4. If you want to reset it to how it was, then choose left to move it to default location.
