Method 1: Disconnect all external peripherals and check Windows Installation Media USB

Method 2: Correct the bootable device using third-party software

Step 1: Open your browser and download & install Rufus tool from ‘https://rufus.ie/en/’ page in your device

Step 2: Now, download Windows 11 ISO from ‘https://www.microsoft.com/software-download/windows11’ page

Step 3: Double-click on downloaded executable of Rufus, under ‘Device’, select the USB you want to create the installation media from, select ISO file and click ‘Start’ and follow on-screen instructions to finish the process. Once done, check if it issue is resolved.

Method 3: Convert the partition from MBR to GPT

Step 1: Type ‘cmd’ in Windows Search Box and press ‘SHIFT + ENTER’ keys on keyboard to open ‘Command Prompt as Administrator’

Step 2: Type ‘start diskpart’ command and hit ‘Enter’ key to execute. Select the hard disk with partition issues, type ‘list disk’ and hit ‘Enter’ key

Step 3: Type ‘Clean’ and hit ‘Enter’ key to delete all the files from hard disk

Method 4: Make the partition active

Step 1: Open ‘Command Prompt as Admisntrator’ using above method

Step 2: Type ‘start diskpart’ and hit ‘Enter’ key. Now, type ‘list disk’ and hit ‘Enter’ key to see all disks on PC

Step 3: Type ‘select disk 0’ command and hit ‘Enter’ key. Replace the ‘0’ with your disk number

Step 4: Type ‘list partition’ and hit ‘Enter’

Step 5: Type ‘select partition 2’ command and hit ‘Enter’ key to execute. Replace ‘2’ with your partition number

Step 6: Now, type ‘active’ command and hit ‘Enter’ to execute and then type ‘Exit’ and hit ‘Enter’ key to close the command prompt. Once done, check if it works for you.

Method 5: Set the hard disk as first boot device

Step 1: Restart your computer and when booting initiates, press ‘F2’, ‘Delete’ or other BIOS support key to enter into BIOS mode

Step 2: Once you are in BIOS mode, change the boot device and select the hard disk as first option. Save the changes and exit BIOS, and then restart your computer and check if the issue is resolved.

Method 6: Use diskpart to fix Windows 11 partition error

Step 1: Open ‘Command Prompt as Administrator’ using above method

Step 2: Type ‘start diskpart’ command and hit ‘Enter’ key to see the number of disk on PC

Step 3: Type ‘List disk’ and hit ‘Enter’ key to execute

Step 4: Type ‘select disk 0’ command and hit ‘Enter’ key. Replace the ‘0’ with your disk number

Method 7: Disable other hard drives in BIOS

This issue can be occurred due to two or more hard drives running and causing conflict issue (if applicable). You can fix the issue by disabling other hard drives in BIOS in order to fix.

Step 1: Restart your computer and when booting initiates, press ‘F2’, ‘Delete’ or other BIOS supported key to enter into ‘BIOS Mode’
