Method 1: Via Windows 11 Settings App

It is one of the simplest way to turn off Copilot on your Windows is via the Settings app. To do so follow the below mention guidelines:

Step 1: Right-click on the Taskbar and open “Taskbar Settings”

Method 3: Via Group Policy

It’s pertinent to mention the Group Policy Editor is only available in the Windows 11 Pro and Enterprise versions. If you are using Windows 11 Home Editor, you cannot use this method.

But if you meet the requirements for using this method, use the following steps;

Step 1: Use Windows keys + R keys to open Run utility box, then type in gpedit.msc, and click Open

Step 2: In the left pane, under the Local Computer Policy, select User Configuration

Step 3: In the right pane, double-click on Administrative Templates

Step 4: Now choose Windows Components option

Step 5: Now choose, Windows Copilot

              

Step 6: Under the Windows Copilot option, locate and double-click Turn Off Windows Copilot

Step 7: In the new window, select Enabled and click Apply, followed by OK
