Method 3: Use Command Prompt to disable Superfetch

  • Search for cmd on the Windows Search,
  • Right-click on Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator,
  • Type below in the command line and hit Enter:

“net.exe stop superfetch”

  • After that, type the below command and hit Enter:

“sc config sysmain start=disabled”

  • That’s it. The service is now completely disabled.
